Channing Tatum has been touring around Kentucky, promoting his new film Logan Lucky. During a stop in Harlan, Tatum saw the devastation the area is facing with the coal industry failing. Tatum was so moved that he feels he needs to help the area recover.
It was a really sobering note. These people are smiling through the hard times. It’s really tough. They don’t want to leave because they love their home. They want to make their home better, just like anyone else does.
It’s a great gesture from Tatum, and it’d be great if he made real change in Eastern Kentucky.
