Simi Shittu recruiting: 5-star forward releases new list with Kentucky Wildcats on it

Simi Shittu has announced a new list of 10 schools in the running for the five-star forward.

As expected, the Kentucky Wildcats made the cut, along with the Oregon Ducks and North Carolina Tar Heels among others.

As of now, Shittu does not have a reported offer from Kentucky, something he does hold from Oregon, the perceived favorite in his recruitment. However, one has to think Kentucky will be at or near the top of his list once an offer comes.

With Marvin Bagley set to commit Monday night, Shittu should be near the top of Kentucky’s big board for big men in the 2018 class. It’s already a thin class for power forwards and centers. Bol Bol is the only big in this class with a confirmed offer from Kentucky.

Among the other schools who’ve offered Shittu, a top-10 recruit in nearly every recruiting service, are the Arizona Wildcats, Louisville Cardinals, UCLA Bruins and Texas Longhorns.

I think this comes down to Kentucky vs Oregon.
