Quickies: Football Scrimmage Recap Edition

Football scrimmage reports, Jarred Vanderbilt, Immanuel Quickley highlights, and more.

Good morning, Big Blue Nation. The Kentucky Wildcats football team got after it yesterday in a closed scrimmage. For the first time this summer, the ‘Cats went after it eleven on eleven in full pads.

John Clay of the Lexington Herald-Leader gave us his three takeaways from the scrimmage. Unfortunately one of those takeaways was Eddie Gran’s displeasure at turning the ball over. Kentucky had one of the worst turnover margins in the SEC last season thanks to fumbling the ball all over the field.

As we saw in the game against Louisville, a turnover can mean the difference in winning or losing the game.
