The new 247 Rankings for the Class of 2018 were released this week, and the Kentucky Wildcats are heavily invested in the top five players, along with several other players in the top 25.

Zion Williamson stays at the top of the rankings, fending off #2 player Marvin Bagley in the latest rankings. Bol Bol comes in at #3, Romeo Langford is ranked #4, and Cameron Reddish is #5.

Right now, it seems that Kentucky is the favorite for probably only Williamson out of that group of five. Duke and USC have gained momentum for Bagley, who still hasn’t decided if he will reclassify to 2017 yet. Bol could be leaning toward staying west to play for Arizona or USC, Reddish looks to be a Duke vs Kentucky battle, and it’s anybody’s guess on Langford.

Outside of that top five, Kentucky is either recruiting or shown previous interest in Moses Brown (27), Darius Garland (15), Simi Shittu (8), Keldon Johnson (11), Nazreon Reid (24), Immanuel Quickley (13), and Louis King (16).

King has been publicly stating how much an offer from UK would mean. As he rises, expect Calipari to reach an offer out and King could commit shortly after.

Quickley is a heavy UK lean, and could potentially be the first commitment after he finishes his visits in September. LSU holds a heavy lead in the 247 Crystal Ball for Reid (80 percent).

Shittu has yet to receive a UK offer but one could be on the horizon with his impressive play as of late.

Garland recently received a UK offer, but that doesn’t seem to have really shook up his recruitment as he seems likely to stay at home to play for Vanderbilt or could go to Duke or Indiana.

Brown is a curious case as he isn’t often mentioned with Kentucky recruiting, but he is still on Calipari’s radar although Maryland leads his Crystal Ball with 60 percent.

Other UK recruits in the new rankings include Emmitt Williams (21), Quentin Grimes (17), and David McCormack (26).
