Kentucky Football shooting for the moon in College Football Playoff

The Kentucky Wildcats have some lofty goals for the 2017 college football season.

That includes making it to the College Football Playoff, as ESPN analyst Rece Davis caught this at the UK facilities.

I love this, because as Les Brown once said, “Shoot for the moon, and if you miss, you will still be among the stars.”

UK has almost no shot of making it to the playoff, but the best way for a program to reach new heights is to shoot for the moon and end up accomplishing other goals. UK won’t make it to the playoff this year, but by making this the goal and doing everything in their power to reach it, they could still end up taking this program to heights it hasn’t reached in a long time, if ever.

That includes winning an SEC East crown, beating Florida and even making a BCS Bowl.

Just last year, Kentucky shot for the moon as a 28-point underdog at Louisville and still came away with a 41-38 victory, arguably the biggest upset of the college football season.

UK is shooting for the moon, but Big Blue Nation will gladly settle for some stars.
