It may be only a matter of time before Immanuel Quickley picks the Kentucky Wildcats.
For now, Quickley is planning to visit several of his schools still in contention before making a final decision. According to Scout.com recruiting guru Evan Daniels, Quickley has set up three official visits.
Per Daniels, Quickley’s first official will be with the Kansas Jayhawks on the weekend of September 2nd. He will then visit the Miami-Florida Hurricanes on the weekend of the 9th. He’ll then take his official visit to Lexington on the weekend of September 16th.
Daniels adds that the Maryland Terrapins will receive an unofficial visit at some point, He also says Quickely plans to make a decision later in September, which would come not long after he visits UK.
Quickely is regarded as a top-15 prospect in all of the major recruiting services, the highest being No. 10 by Scout.com. He’s been Calipari’s No. 1 point guard target for a while now. Quickley was even coached by Calipari during the FIBA U19 World Cup.
There’s also the potential package deal with five-star forward Zion Williamson, who is regarded as the No. 1 overall prospect by 247 Sports. He’s already said playing with Quickley in college is something Williamson wants.
Unless something drastically changes, UK is expected to land Quickely at some point before his senior season begins.
