NCAA Football: Sugar Bowl-Auburn vs Oklahoma Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning BBN. In a shocking twist, there’s now only one Stoops brother with a college football head coaching job, and it’s not Bob. That’s something that no one would have expected about five weeks into last season, but it’s true. Bob Stoops is leaving the head coaching position at Oklahoma and retiring.

Stoops has been the head coach at Oklahoma for 18 years. He won a National Championship and 10 Big XII titles. He’s expected to be replaced by Offensive Coordinator Lincoln Riley.
