The Kentucky Wildcats have scored another Class of 2018 football commit.

It comes in the form of kicker Chance Poore, who pledged to UK on Tuesday. Poore told Independent Mail the news first.

“Kentucky is just a great place and are on the rise athletically,” Poore said. “The football program is coming up, they have a great basketball program, the baseball program is doing well and even softball.

“It is just a great place all-around.”

Poore has actually be training with NFL kickers since 2015, and he could replace a future one in Austin MacGinniss, who will be a senior this year.

Poore doesn’t currently have an evaluation in any of the major recruiting services, and UK is the only school to offer him a scholarship. South Carolina has also shown interest.
