DeAndre Liggins is on the move yet again, and this time, he’s taking Kyle Wiltjer with him.
The two former Kentucky Wildcats are part of a blockbuster trade that will see the Los Angeles Clippers send Chris Paul to the Houston Rockets.

Liggins was originally traded from the Dallas Mavericks to Houston earlier today, but that were merely to allow the Rockets to build a package to for the Clippers in order for all the salaries to match. Paul is making what all of these other players are making combined, so that’s why we’re seeing Liggins and Wiltjer part of a seven-player package to L.A. for Paul.
Wiltjer made the Rockets’ roster last year after being signed as an undrafted free agent out of Gonzaga. Liggins spent time with the Cleveland Cavaliers before being waived and claimed by Dallas.
Hopefully, both Liggins and Wiltjer will find long-term homes with the Clippers.
