The Kentucky Wildcats are staying alive at the Team USA training camp in Colorado.
On Tuesday, the group of 27 players trying out was cut down to 18, and all three Cats made the finalists. That includes freshman forward Kevin Knox, redshirt freshman shooting guard Hamidou Diallo and freshman forward P.J. Washington. At least one of these guys is a lock to be on the final roster, which is probably Knox at this point.
Also making the cut were forward Bol Bol, forward Louis King, shooting guard Romeo Langford, point guard Immanuel Quickley and wing Cameron Reddish, all of whom are UK recruits.
Here is the complete list of remaining finalists, which will be cut down to a 12-man roster at a later date:
- Bol Bol
- Jordan Brown
- Hamidou Diallo
- Carsen Edwards
- Kevin Huerter
- Louis King
- Kevin Knox
- Romeo Langford
- Brandon McCoy
- Chuma Okeke
- Josh Okogie
- Payton Pritchard
- Immanuel Quickley
- Cameron Reddish
- Mitchell Robinson
- Quinton Rose
- P.J. Washington
- Austin Wiley
Among the cuts were Desmond Bane, Chaundee Brown, Devon Daniels, Malachi Flynn, Charlie Moore, De’Anthony Melton, Shamorie Ponds, Kris Wilkes and former UK recruit Marques Bolden.
