Scout.com gave Square his highest ranking as a four-star prospect in addition to being the 20th-best outside linebacker in 2018. 247 Sports, Rivals and ESPN gave Square a three-star rating.

Square hold offers from the likes of LSU, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Arizona, Michigan State, Missouri, Purdue and Iowa among others. That speaks to how good of a prospect he is, and keeping his pledge will be no easy task between now and the first signing period.
