The Kentucky Wildcats have scored a big football pledge in the Class of 2018.
It came Friday evening when DeAndre Square made his decision, which he announced on Twitter:

A 6-1, 205-pound linebacker from Detroit, Michigan, Square becomes one of the top defenders to pledge to UK in the 2018 class, which now has 12 commitments. some services list Square as a safety, but most view him as a linebacker the college level.
Scout.com gave Square his highest ranking as a four-star prospect in addition to being the 20th-best outside linebacker in 2018. 247 Sports, Rivals and ESPN gave Square a three-star rating.

Square hold offers from the likes of LSU, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Arizona, Michigan State, Missouri, Purdue and Iowa among others. That speaks to how good of a prospect he is, and keeping his pledge will be no easy task between now and the first signing period.
