Two of Kentucky’s draft longshots are getting chances to prove themselves.

Both Isaiah Briscoe and Isaac Humphries have worked out for NBA teams over the past couple days, and Briscoe has another one tomorrow.

Humphries worked out for the Detroit Pistons this weekend, according to Rod Beard.

Humphries is expected to end up playing overseas, but it’s a good sign that he’s getting NBA workouts. It’s possible he gets drafted in the late second round of this year’s NBA Draft as a draft-and-stash player.

As for Briscoe, he’s working out with the Los Angeles Lakers today, after having worked out with the Utah Jazz today, according to Adam Zagoria.

Humphries was also a late addition to the players working out with the Lakers today:

Briscoe’s past workout with the New York Knicks went really well. He’s also worked out with the Chicago Bulls.

Like Humphries, he’s not expected to be drafted, but he’s more likely to get a shot with an NBA team, even if he can’t sneak into the end of the draft. Either way, we should see both in an NBA training camp and the Summer League.
