Well, Game 1 didn’t go as well as hoped. The Cats fell to Louisville, 5-2 in a tough start to the series. Louisville scored five straight runs, and the Cats couldn’t muster anything until the ninth where they put up a couple runs before finally being shut down.

Game 2 will feature aces Sean Hjelle and Brendan McKay, two of the best pitchers in the college game. It should be a pitcher’s duel that Kentucky has to win. Otherwise, their season is over.
