Cadarius Gaskin is no long part of the Kentucky Wildcats’ 2018 class.
According to 247 Sports’ Ryan Bartow, UK and Gaskin have parted ways.
Breaking Scoop: #Kentucky and Delray Beach, Fla./Atlantic wide receiver Cadarius Gaskin part ways. #BBN

That would seem to indicate the breakup was mutual, though that’s unclear at this point. The 6-4, 215-pound receiver committed to the Kentucky in April over North Carolina State, FAU, Syracuse, Illinois, and West Virginia.
Gaskin hails from Delray Beach (FL) and plays at Atlantic High School. He is ranked 772nd overall by 247 Sports in addition to being the 124th-best receiver. He has a three-star rating at Rivals.com, 247 and Scout.com, while ESPN has him ranked as the 85th-best receiver and a three-star prospect.
It’s unfortunate this couldn’t work out for UK and Gaskin, but hopefully this is the best decision for both parties. Perhaps Gaskin wants his recruitment to be open going into the summer, while UK may feel there are other receiver prospects who are a better fit for their system.
