Good news came for the Kentucky Wildcats on Monday by way of the 2018 basketball recruiting class.
Elite rising senior point guard Immanuel Quickley out of Bel Air, Maryland cut his remaining college choices to just four schools. Needless to say Kentucky made the cut.

Widely considered as the top point guard in the class of 2018 Quickley is an essential part to John Calipari's recruiting for a year from now, one that could lead to another stacked class.
At 6'3" and 175 pounds this recruit is well suited for the name he has. Quickley is a quick and masterful facilitator, and a player that John Calipari has been after for well over a year now.
Quickley's current plan, according to Scout.com analyst Evan Daniels, is to set up official visits and make a decision following those trips. While we shouldn't expect an official decision to be made anytime soon, the sudden narrowing down to four schools as well as prematurely cutting Duke out of the picture is news that Kentucky should be delighted to hear.
