The Kentucky Wildcats may get not just one, but two, transfers in their 2017 class.
As we await Cameron Johnson’s decision, Miles Wilson has announced that he’s transferring from Mt. Saint Mary’s (Maryland), and he has reportedly spoken to Kentucky this week.
Mount St. Mary's transfer Miles Wilson was just offered by Penn State. Has talked to Kentucky, NC State, UVA, Miami & UMass today.— Evan Daniels (@EvanDaniels) May 2, 2017
Wilson confirmed to the Cats Pause that Kentucky has contacted him, though it remains to be seen how hard they may pursue him.
The 6’5”, 190-lb guard averaged 11.8 points and 3.9 rebounds per game last season as a freshman. That includes a game-high 22 point performance in MSM’s 76-56 loss to Villanova in the NCAA Tournament.
Kentucky is by far the best program that has talked to Wilson, if he’s only talked to the teams that Daniels is reporting. That’ll bodes well for UK, depending on how much interest the Wildcats have in him, but we’ll see if they’re serious about making this possible marriage down the road.
