The 7-1, 225-pound son of NBA great Manute Bol has been one of the fastest risers in the 2018 class this year. He’s now ranked No. 5 overall by 247 Sports in addition to being the second-best power forward.
Last season, he averaged 16.5 points, 8.6 rebounds and 2.9 blocks per game, while shooting 70 percent from the field. Through eight games on the Nike EYBL circuit this year, Bol is averaging 25.4 points, nine rebounds and three blocks per contest.
Since UK offered, there’s been a big crystal ball movement that’s put the Wildcats ahead of Kansas. Bol also holds offers from Arizona, Creighton, Oregon, USC and others.
It’s still early in this recruitment, but UK has emerged as a major threat to land the son of Manute in the 2018 class.
