Kentucky will have as many as four first-round picks in this year’s NBA Draft. Among them will likely be Bam Adebayo, who is squarely on the first-round bubble.
The freshman power forward from North Carolina enjoyed a productive freshman year in Lexington before declaring for the draft. In his one season in the Bluegrass, Adebayo averaged 13.0 points and a team-best 8.0 rebounds per game. He also led the team in blocks per game (1.5) and double-doubles (eight), including five double-doubles over his last 11 games. He was a member of the All-SEC Second Team and was also named to the All-SEC Tournament Team.
Ahead of June’s draft, Adebayo is projected as the 32nd overall pick by DraftExpress, who also just did a nice scouting report of the UK big man.
