Jarren Williams has re-committed to the Kentucky Wildcats.

Williams made the call on Kentucky Sports Radio during their Monday show. He has since posted the news on his Twitter page:

This comes just a few weeks after Williams decommitted, but Mark Stoops and company were able to get him back on board in the 2018 class.

The four-star quarterback out of Georgia is ranked as the 257th-best prospect and 11th-best dual-threat quarterback in 2018 by ESPN. He’s ranked 340th by 247 Sports in addition to being the 13th-best dual-threat quarterback.

Since he committed to UK in June of 2016, Williams has scored scholarship offers from Alabama, Florida, LSU, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Mississippi State, South Carolina and Miami among many others. Seeing that kind of offer sheet would make most recruits reopen their recruitment. While Williams did so, it turns out UK was who he wanted to remain with.

Though Williams has already been committed to UK once, this is still huge news for the Cats. Let some of Williams’ highlights show you why:
