Quintin Wilson commits to Kentucky Wildcats

UK scores a big pledge from one of the top centers in 2018.

The Kentucky Wildcats have landed another football pledge in the 2018 class.

It came Sunday as Quintin Wilson made the call for the Cats:

Wilson, who hails from Walnut Hills (OH), is one of the top offensive linemen from the Buckeye State. The three-star lineman held offers from Duke, Minnesota, Boston College, Cincinnati, Rutgers, Temple, Virginia and Ohio among others.

At 6-3 and 292 pounds, Wilson figures to be an interior lineman at the college level, and most services have have him pegged as a center or guard. He doesn’t have an evaluation by ESPN or 247 Sports, though both classify him as a center.

Rivals has him pegged as the fifth-best center in the 2018 class in addition to being the 20th-best prospect from Ohio. has him as the 57th-best offensive guard. If his Rivals ranking is any indicator, this was a huge get for Mark Stoops and his staff.

Wilson becomes the eighth pledge for UK in 2018. Here are some highlights of the newest Cat in action:
