Good morning Big Blue Nation. We are going to have a sunny, beautiful Saturday so I hope you make the most of your day. But first, I hope you enjoy the Quickies.

After being embarrassed by the Boston Celtics in Boston, the Washington Wizards faced elimination on their home court. Down two with 3.5 seconds left in the game, our own John Wall nailed a three pointer for the win and a game seven back in Boston.

Win or lose, John Wall has cemented himself as one of the top 10 players in the NBA and is in the conversation as the second best player in the East.

UK football: New early signing period brings benefits, drawbacks | Lexington Herald Leader
After six players committed to Kentucky bolted during an eight-day span before the 2015 signing day, Stoops was one of the vocal minority calling for an early signing period similar to other NCAA sports. Isaiah Briscoe enjoys big day at NBA Draft Combine - 247
After not receiving an invite to last year's NBA Draft Combine, Isaiah Briscoe wanted to make a splash. Thursday, he did just that. Currently, Briscoe is projected as a late second round pick to undrafted.

Briscoe doesn't want to talk about Kentucky | SEC Country- Even though Briscoe is making the best of his time at the combine, don't as him about his time at Kentucky. "All the Kentucky questions, I don't play for Kentucky no more," Briscoe yelped. "I'm just trying to start fresh." As you can imagine, these comments haven't gone over well with some fans.
