Harvard are returning four of their top five scorers, so it’ll be a good non-conference game to have on the schedule for a young team. Head coach Tommy Amaker has built the Crimson into a team that recently made four straight NCAA Tournament trips, though they’ve missed out on the Big Dance for the last two seasons.
This is the third known game on the schedule. The Cats will play the Kansas Jayhawks in the Champions Classic in Chicago, IL on Nov. 14, and the UCLA Bruins in New Orleans, LA on Dec. 23.
The team that will take the floor for those games is still somewhat unknown. De’Aaron Fox and Malik Monk have departed, Bam Adebayo has declared for the draft without signing an agent, and Isaiah Briscoe may be leaving as well. Meanwhile, we’re still waiting on the commitment of guys like Kevin Knox and Mohamed Bamba.
