Way Way Way too early bracketology has Kentucky Basketball as 2 seed

Joe Lunardi is already at it.

The National Championship was Monday, which means college basketball season is over. March Madness is quite literally 11 months away.

But guess who’s already making brackets? That’s right, Joe Lunardi is already hard at work predicting what teams will make the tournament a year from now.

Lunardi’s way too early prediction is interesting. He’s got Kentucky as a No. 2 seed, with the Florida Gators, an SEC foe of course, as a No. 1 seed.

Some other interesting notes: there are five SEC teams in Lunardi’s field, both Gonzaga and North Carolina are No. 3 seeds, and there are zero interesting storylines in Kentucky’s bracket (aside from SEC foe Vanderbilt).

I’m sure this is one of 400 brackets that we’ll get between now and the start of next year’s tournament. Lunardi won’t slow down until he achieves perfection, I guess.
