With the college basketball season now over, the final Top 25 polls have been unveiled.
The Kentucky Wildcats checked in at No. 5 in the final USA Today Coaches Poll after finishing with a 32-6 record. Of those six losses, four of them came to teams that finished in the top 10 of the final poll.
One of those was to the Florida Gators, who were one of three SEC teams to crack the top 10 of the final poll. Also making it were the South Carolina Gamecocks, who came in at No. 6.
The North Carolina Tar Heels, Gonzaga Bulldogs, Oregon Ducks and Kansas Jayhawks rounded out the top four.
For what it's worst, the first preseason Coaches Poll had Kentucky checking in at No. 4, so finishing at No. 5 is just about right, not underachieving.
