John Calipari is hot on the recruiting trail looking to finish off the 2017 class, as well as lay the foundation for what’s shaping up to be a promising 2018 haul.
On Thursday, Calipari posted brief message to fans on Twitter about his recruiting travels:
Been a great last few days meeting w/potential future Cats & learning about their dreams and aspirations, talking about what UK is & isn't.

Out of the 2017 class, Calipari met with five-star wing Kevin Knox this week, and he’s still pursuing five-star forward Mohamed Bamba. The late signing period is currently ongoing, and it will come to close on May 17th. Expect Calipari to be recruiting a lot until then.
Calipari and his staff have also seen 2018 stars Romeo Langford, Zion Williamson, Naz Reid and Moses Brown over the last week. This is a good reminder that, when it comes to Kentucky Basketball, what offseason?
Oh, and while Calipari is meeting with potential Wildcats, Louisville is meeting with the NCAA about their latest scandal. Yeah, it’s definitely the offseason in the Bluegrass.
