Kentucky football wrapped up spring football with the annual Blue-White scrimmage Friday night, where the Blue team beat the White team, 31-14.

The Blue squad, made up of first-team players, had 351 yards of total offense, including 231 yards through the air. The White team, which was facing UK’s first-team defense, was able to manage just 170 yards of offense, including just 47 yards on the ground.

The star of the game was redshirt freshman Gunnar Hoak, who finished 16-of-24 passing for 174 yards and two touchdowns. Hoak also rushed three times for 10 yards and a score.

Also making a big impact was junior running back Sihiem King, who rushed 19 times for 107 yards and two touchdowns.

This was a night where the heavy-hitters were held in check for the most part. Senior quarterback Stephen Johnson was 8-of-18 for 106 yards and an interception. Sophomore running back Benny Snell carried just three times for 22 yards, but did score a touchdown.
