John Calipari is already hard at work on his 2018 recruiting class.
Calipari concluded an in-home visit with ‘18 big man Moses Brown. Assistant Coach Tony Barbee came along as well.

Brown is ranked as the No. 6 overall prospect in the 2018 class by Scout.com, Rivals.com, 247 Sports and ESPN. He already holds offer from Arizona, Louisville, Kansas, Florida and Maryland, though he’s expected to get offers from other national powers like Duke and Kentucky eventually.
At 7’0”, 210 lbs, Brown is one of the tallest and longest in his class. He’s a five-star recruit in every major service who is currently playing high school ball at New Heights High School in New York.
Maryland is currently the overwhelming favorite to land Brown on the 247 Sports Crystal Ball, as they have 60 percent of the predictions. Duke is in second, at 25 percent, with Kentucky jumping up to 12 percent in the last month.
When Calipari enters the mix, all bets are off. We’ll see if he can pull Brown in another direction.
