It looks like Kevin Knox is actually considering the Missouri Tigers.
On Saturday, Knox announced on Twitter that he will be taking his final official visit to Columbia next weekend.
Final Visit to the University of Missouri on April 8th and 9th #GoTigers

Ever since Cuonzo Martin was named the new head coach, Missouri has been coming hard after the five-star forward, even though they have scored a commitment from forward Michael Porter Jr.
Those two would seemingly be mutually exclusive, but Knox does have the tools to play the 4 at the college level while Porter sticks to the 3. That would be a devastating combo, enough to propel the Tigers from being bottom-feeders to legit SEC contenders.
Knox was tentatively planning a decision between April 10-16, though that may be on the latter side now that his visit is coming right before that window begins.
Even with this upcoming visit, Knox is believed to be down to Kentucky, Florida State, Duke and North Carolina. He wants to see what happens with those schools and potential NBA decisions, so it’s possible this recruitment drags out into late April/early May.
