The Kentucky Wildcats have a new point guard target in 2018.
According to Scout.com’s Evan Daniels, Quentin Grimes picked up an offer from John Calipari on Wednesday.
John Calipari went to Houston and offered 2018 point guard Quentin Grimes today, per a source.

This is big news as the only point guard with an offer in 2018 thus far is Immanuel Quickley. It appeared that Kentucky may have been focusing on Quickly as their point guard for 2018, but it now appears Grimes is in the mix for that as well.
247 Sports has Grimes ranked eighth overall in 2018 in addition to being the top-ranked point guard. He already has offers from Kansas, Duke and Arizona among others. That tells you just how big-time Grimes is in next year’s class, so it was only a matter of time before he scored an offer from Kentucky.
