Jeff Badet has chosen where he will go following his departure from the Kentucky football program, as he’s headed to the Oklahoma Sooners. Wide receiver/tight end Dakota Holtzclaw is leaving the program as well.
Badet had a career year last season, with a career-high in receptions (31), yards (670) and touchdowns (four).

He joins a program that is in much better shape than Kentucky’s, and will have a chance to win now rather than contribute to a program that is continuing to slowly improve. Although, his role will likely be much less significant in Norman.
Holtzclaw is a redshirt freshman who was ranked as the No. 42 tight end nationally, but Kentucky brought him on as a wide receiver. He made a transition back to tight end in the spring, according to Cats Pause.
Holtzclaw and Badet join linebackers Kobie Walker, De'Niro Laster and Nico Nico Firios as the four most recent program transfers.
