Darral Willis said he was going to shut down Bam Adebayo on Sunday, but that was far from what actually transpired.
Bam was a force down low for Kentucky in a game that came down to the wire. The freshman forward picked up his eighth double-double of the season by scoring 13 points on 6-of-11 shooting and grabbing 10 rebounds in what turned into a 65-62 win for the Cats.
After the game, Bam’s mother made sure to let everyone know Willis wasn’t shutting down her boy:

There may not be any one player in college basketball capable of shutting down Bam on his own, and that was evident today.
