Wichita State thought they could shut down Kentucky, but it was Malik Monk and Bam Adebayo who shut down the Shockers not once, but twice in the closing seconds.
The first came with Kentucky leading 63-62 and Markis McDuffie attempting a go-ahead three, but Monk swatted it down:

After Monk hit a pair of free throws, the Shockers got one last attempt to tie the game, but Landry Shamet’s three-point attempt was shut down by Bam:
