The Kentucky Wildcats will be up late Friday night when they face Northern Kentucky in the NCAA Tournament.
The times for Friday’s games have been announced, and Wichita State will play Dayton at 7:10 p.m. EST. That means Kentucky and NKU will tip off 30 minutes after the game ends, putting the game time around 9:40 p.m.
The game will be televised on CBS, with announcers Jim Nantz, Grant Hill, Bill Raftery and Tracy Wolfson on the call. If Kentucky wins this game, they’ll play in one of the time slots during Sunday’s action, likely vs Wichita State.
It’s not ideal, Kentucky always seems to get the late-night draws, so it’s no surprise seeing this happen again. Whether it’s at noon on a weekday or 3 am on a Sunday, Kentucky is always going to draw a large audience, which is why they usually get put in a time slot no one likes.
