Thanks to a great defensive effort and a big game by Isaiah Briscoe, Kentucky cruised to a 71-60 win over Georgia in the SEC Tournament quarterfinals.

Briscoe had one of his best games as Wildcat, scoring 20 points on 8-of-15 shooting to go with six boards, two assists and two steals.

Fellow backcourt mate De’Aaron Fox had a big game as well, scoring 20 points on 7-of-12 shooting with four assists and three boards.

Bam Adebayo recorded his team-high sixth double-double of the season, notching 13 points and 10 boards.

Those guys needed thew games they had to makeup for Malik Monk having another bad outing. Monk scored just two points on 1-7 shooting while missing a pair of free throws as well. He did have two boards, two assists and a steal as he did his best to contribute elsewhere.

The Cats lead by as many as 17 points three different times in the second half, ultimately winning by eleven. Kentucky will now face either Alabama or South Carolina in the semifinals Saturday at 1 pm ET. That game will be televised on ESPN.
