Round 3 of Bulldogs-Wildcats is at 1 p.m. EST on the SEC Network for a spot in the SECT semis.
As I write these words, UK is a double-digit (10 point) favorite despite two single-digit (9 and 5) victories in the previous 2017 meetings between the squads.
As always when the 'Cats play UGA, keep an eye on their upperclassmen All-SEC First Team stars J.J. Frazier and Yante Maten.
Frazier, who's 5'9'', played well above his size yesterday, grabbing 10 rebounds (all defensive) and making a crucial block in the game's closing minutes. Those defensive heroics made up for his cold (4-13) shooting.
Maten was in action yesterday afternoon, off the bench, for the first time since injuring his knee in the game against the 'Cats on February 18. The big forward contributed a solid all-around line (12-5-1-2) in 26 minutes, but was somewhat reckless, logging 5 turnovers, many of which led to UT baskets which kept the Vols in the game.
Let's talk about these thangz.
