Kentucky Basketball Highlights and Box Score from win over LSU

Kentucky is back in the win column after defeating LSU.

It wasn’t always a pretty affair, but it was one the Cats geld control of throughout, despite having some ugly dry spells at various points. That allowed the undermanned Tigers to cut the lead to 10 in the second half, but UK would jump out to a 25-point lead before struggling to finish off the game, allowing LSU to trim the lad to six with 10 seconds left.

Wenyen Gabriel led the way with a career night, scoring 23 points on 7-of-11 shooting with eight boards and two assists. Malik Monk chipped in 23 points on 8-of-15 shooting to go with two steals and two assists.

As bad as LSU is, just getting back in the win column was what this young Cats team needed. Here is the final box score:
