The recruitment of Trae Young is coming to an end, and Kentucky still appears to be out of the mix.
According to ESPN's Jeff Borzello, Young will make his college decision on Feb. 16th, likely between Kansas and Oklahoma. Young has since confirmed the decision date, though he’s not saying who his finalists are.

Ever since UK took a commitment from point guard Quade Green and combo guard Shai Alexander, Young has shown little interest in joining them in Lexington.
This had been a recruitment UK would have likely won out in, but they wanted to come out of the fall signing period with a point guard signed for next season.
Green was willing to give them that, but Young wasn't. He insisted on keeping his recruitment going into the spring, and that's why John Calipari went with Green.
