When Malik Monk is en fuego, good luck beating this Kentucky team.
Monk’s latest historic performance was a 30-point outing the second half of Saturday’s win over Florida. After Monk was held to just three points in the first half, the freshman guard erupted for 30 in the second half on 8-of-13 shooting.
"He took the game over," Florida head coach Mike White said of Monk’s scoring barrage. "He was amazing. It was probably the best performance against us all year."
Monk was so in the zone that he didn’t even know how well he’d played until after the final horn had sounded.
"I didn't know (about the 30) until after the game," Monk said after the win. "I felt normal."
Kentucky is now 7-0 when Monk scores 26-plus points. Re-live his latest epic outing, courtesy of Frankie Vision.
