Kentucky will have a surprise visitor this weekend.
According to Evan Daniels of Scout.com, five-star guard Javonte Smart is taking an unofficial visit today as the Cats get set to host Florida.

A 6-4, 185-pound guard out of Baton Rouge, Smart is ranked as the top prospect from the state of Louisiana in 2018 in addition to being the No. 3 point guard and No. 13 overall recruit, according to 247 Sports Composite.
Thus far, Kentucky has appeared to show more interest in Immanuel Quickley for a point guard target in 2018, but Smart could end up being the superior player.

Perhaps an offer will come for Smart this weekend. Whether Kentucky prioritizes him or Quickley will be one of the bigger recruiting stories to watch for in the 2018 class.
