It was unclear whether or not Fox would play until around 2 p.m. ET, once he was seen in street clothes.
Fox did not practice on Thursday due to a knee contusion suffered Tuesday against Missouri.
“He didn’t practice yesterday. He did a little bit of stuff and I haven’t been in there to see,” head coach John Calipari said Friday. “But I would guess that he’ll be a game-time decision.
“He got his knee. He hit his knee. It’s nothing. It’s not sprained or anything. I think it was a bruise.”
Fox is averaging 15.5 points and 5.3 assists per game this season. He missed one game earlier in the year due to an illness. He suffered an ankle injury against South Carolina on Jan. 21 that cost him much of that game, though he returned to face Tennessee the following Tuesday.
