It looks like the Kentucky Wildcats may have both of their sick guards back for Saturday’s clash with the Florida Gators.
According to KSR, both Fox and Mulder are feeling better and may be good to go this weekend. Fox is dealing with a stomach bug that kept him out of Tuesday’s overtime win over Georgia.
As for Mulder, he’s been dealing with an unknown illness that’s kept him out since the Jan. 21 win over South Carolina. It appears he’s kicked whatever illness he was dealing with since he’s been present at shootaround and pregame warmups in each of the past two games, though he did not take part.
That would suggest he’s now simply recovering from the after effects of his illness and getting back into game shape. He’d be a welcome addition whenever he returns to a UK team that’s struggled on offense with him out of the lineup, though the Cats’ issues go beyond the added three-point threat Mulder gives them.
It does not appear Sacha Killeya-Jones is recovered from the flu bug plaguing the freshman forward. He missed Tuesday’s game and probably should not be counted on for Saturday.
