Here we go again.
With the NBA Trade Deadline coming this week, expect a lot of rumors to emerge regarding DeMarcus Cousins. Typically, the rumors are about teams calling the Kings to see if they’re interested in trading their All-Star big man.
However, it appears Sacramento is the one engaging trade talks this time around, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

I doubt Cousins gets dealt, but it makes sense for the Kings to at least look into what they could land in a trade for him. If a team like the Celtics are willing to trade their first-round pick (via the Nets) that could become the top pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, perhaps the Kings are willing to trade Boogie and begin a rebuild around other players.
That’s about the only kind of deal I can see going down, but even the top pick might not be enough to pry Cousins away, and Boston may not even be willing to give up that pick.
However, it looks like the Pelicans could be a viable landing spot for Boogie.

Pairing Boogie with Anthony Davis would be an insane frontline that no NBA team could defend. The problem with New Orleans is they have very few players around Davis, so it’s hard to see how they could package deal worthy of Boogie, but a fun thought nonetheless.
