NCAA Basketball: Louisville at Kentucky Mark Zerof-USA TODAY Sports

A little over 48 hours after beating the Louisville Cardinals by 29 points, the Kentucky Wildcats have a quick turnaround to open SEC play against the Georgia Bulldogs. The game is at 6:00 PM in Rupp Arena and will be televised on ESPN.

The Dawgs are also opening conference play tonight. They are 9-2 on the season with losses to San Diego State and UMass but they have some decent wins over St. Mary’s and Georgia Tech.

Yante Maten is their best player and is an All SEC caliber dude. Mark Fox’s tough teams always give Kentucky fits so this certainly will be a battle if Kentucky does not come to play.

Tweets of the Day

So Mark Richt actually initiates contact by grabbing an official and nothing, absolutely nothing was done to him. Pathetic display of a player/coach double standard.

This tweet has gained a lot of attention because... basically because it’s one of the dumbest tweets in the history of twitter. Unsportsmanlike penalty for fans being loud in the stands? I’ve heard it all, folks.

This tweet came after Bowden retweeted an AJ Rose tweet that said “Decisions, decisions, decisions”. Bowden’s retweet response was “Same over here bruh”. Rose deleted the tweet. This isn’t the first time the All SEC Freshman has tweeted his displeasure and it’s not the first time Rose, or his father, has gone on social media to do the same. Mark Stoops needs to get a handle on the Social Media situation.
