Everyone is weighing in on the controversial ejection of UK running back Benny Snell by referee Chris Coyte.
To recap, Coyte as the official that kicked Snell out of the Music City Bowl for making contact with an official. After game, Coyte tried to explain himself, but it was a whole lotta BS that no one is buying,
“The player got up and grabbed my arms and pushed them away and contacted me,” Coyte said, according to pool reporter Adam Sparks. “That’s a foul.”
Former ESPN and CNN commentator Keith Olbermann eviscerated Coyte for his explanation of disqualifying Snell from the bowl game:
Referee should be banned. Lying, slandering player. And a moron who doesn’t realize there’s video. https://t.co/eYlMF31cmH

It’s as bad of an officiating error as you’ll ever seen in a sporting event, and Coye is rightfully getting hammered for it. I’m not saying he should lose his job over this, but he definitely doesn’t deserve to call any respectable bowl game.
Unfortunately for him, this game was aired on ESPN for the whole world to see his gaffe. It also appears it’s not his first major gaffe in a bowl game:
Referee Chris Coyte, the 1 who kicked out Snell, had some controversy in the 2015 Pintstripe bowl that hosed Indiana. https://t.co/YQFg3YQBnj @KySportsRadio #BBN
