The Cats are back in action today in a rare double-header of hoops and pigskin.
The basketball team takes on their arch rival, Louisville, while the football team plays Northwestern in the Music City Bowl.
The basketball game starts at 1:00 pm EST. and the football game starts at 4:30 pm EST.
Both games are extremely important for both teams and programs.
The football team is coming off of a disappointing end to the season. They got blown away in their last two games, and they need to bounce back strong against a good Northwestern team.
The basketball team is also coming off a very disappointing showing against the UCLA Bruins. The guys couldn’t shoot, and their perimeter defense continues to be an issue for this team.
Friday will either be one of the best days in UK sports, or one of the worst!
We want to know what you think. Which game means more, beating UofL or winning a bowl game?
