This past weekend, the Chick-fil-A Classic was held in Columbia, South Carolina, and one Kentucky recruit took it over.
Keldon Johnson and No. 3 Oak Hill Academy (Va.) beat No. 8 IMG Academy (Fla.) to win their fourth Chick-fil-A Classic title. Johnson poured in 25 points on 10/19 shooting while also going 3/4 from three. He was named the MVP of the Classic, which is a huge honor considering how much talent was there.
The Classic held four nationally ranked high school teams, and a bunch of top-tier recruits for the next few years.
Keldon is ranked 14th overall, but he’s currently making that ranking look like a joke. Johnson was named MVP of the National Hoopfest Series earlier this month and co-MVP of the NBA Top 100 Camp last summer. He’s playing like a superstar and he’s making all of BBN excited for next year.
