Kentucky is one of several schools working hard to get five-star 2019 combo guard Bryan Antoine, according to Sean Bock of ZagsBlog.

The other schools are Harvard, Florida, Villanova, Duke and Rutgers, Zagoria says. Antoine broke the recruitment down and talked about a few of the schools, including Duke, Kentucky and Villanova.

He spoke best about Kentucky, saying that the offer from UK was very important to him.

“That offer to me, I didn’t have many words for it; it meant a lot to get that offer,” Antoine said, according to ZagsBlog. “It just meant that I had to work even harder because now I need to show people why I got that offer.”

For Duke, he talked about their recruitment being the same as the others, and for Villanova he talked about proximity to home.

Antoine is also serious about potentially teaming up with five-star 2019 wing Scottie Lewis, who has interest from several of the same schools, including Kentucky. He said they’ve had “very serious conversation” about it. The two are teammates and best friends.
