Joe Lunardi is still busting out brackets like no one’s business. In this one, he has UK as a No. 2 seed in the Midwest Region.
They’d play UNC Asheville in the first round, and Kansas would be the No. 1 seed.

Some other notable teams there are obviously Kansas, Virginia and Purdue. National Championship Runner-up Gonzaga is in there as well, as is Shaka Smart’s Texas team, which features former UK recruit Mo Bamba.
In this bracket, UK would be set up with a potential Final Four matchup against SEC foe Florida, who is a No. 2 seed in the South Region. Alabama is also in that region as the No. 8 seed, and so is Missouri at No. 11.
Other SEC teams in the bracket: Tennessee as a 10 seed in the West, Arkansas as an 8 seed in the East and Texas A&M as a 3 seed in the East.
Lunardi’s other No. 1 seeds are Duke in the South Region, Michigan State in the West Region and Villanova in the East Region.
