The Kentucky Wildcats continue to wait on the return of Jarred Vanderbilt.
The talented freshman forward is still recovering from a foot injury that was initially expected to sideline him into January.
There was some hope he could return sometime in December, but that’s looking iffy at best as the weeks roll on.
But on Thursday, Vanderbilt posted a picture on Instagram that could suggest his return is coming soon.
Along with a picture of Vanderbilt and several teammates, he posted the words “stay turned” with a clock next to it, suggesting it’s only a matter of time before he returns.
It’s hard to see Vanderbilt playing this week against Virginia Tech, as he reportedly has not practiced since injuring his foot in September.
Perhaps this photo is hinting that he’s actually returning to practice this week, which would mean his return to game action could come in the next few weeks.
With upcoming matchups with UCLA and Louisville after this weekend, the Cats would love to have their five-star freshman back in action. He may very well prove to be the difference in those games if he’s able to play.
