The Kentucky Wildcats are back in Nashville for the bowl season. For the fourth time since 2006, the Cats are playing in the Music City Bowl, and this time, they’ll face the Northwestern Wildcats.
Kentucky enters this game at 7-5 and looking to get the bad taste of their 2-4 finish out of their mouth. A 5-1 start had many thinking Kentucky could make it to a New Year’s Day Bowl, but while this doesn’t measure up to that, the Music City Bowl is still a great place to be, especially for fans looking to make the 4-hour trip from Lexington.
As for Northwestern, they enter this game at 9-3 and ranked in the top 25 of every major poll. This is actually a great chance for Kentucky to beat a nationally-ranked opponent and end their season on as high of a note as one could hope for.
